The Degerhamn Maritime Museum

South Öland's maritime collections are displayed in the Community Museum in Degerhamn.
The collections are rich in industrial history, and particularly feature the Cementa Company, whose activities go directly back to 18th century traditions. The seafaring exhibition comprises a wealth of photographs of ships associated with Degerhamn. The cement industry's dominant role in shaping the village, both as a major employer and as the employer of a sizeable fleet of small auxiliary sailing vessels is vividly illustrated
